LIMITS PUT ON ALIENS
Apply to Enemy Nationals in U.S.
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Justice Department yesterday announced new restrictions on enemy nationals living here. These individuals have until 11 p.m. local time tomorrow to relinquish the newly banned items to their local police. Banned items include any weapons and implements of war and their parts, bombs and explosives, materials for making bombs and explosives, signal devices, ciphers and codes, papers and books that may contain invisible writing, and photographs or other graphical representations of military installations or equipment. These restrictions apply to Germans, Italians, and Japanese and join existing restrictions that include a prohibition on possessing radio transmitters and receivers and hand-held cameras.
